Since more often than not, the changes a woman's body goes through during pregnancy are anything but expected, Stephani Clymer of XPECTING decided to satisfy the practical and fashionable cravings of mothers-to-be.

Clymer grew up dreaming about opening her own retail boutique, and her vision turned into reality in the spring of 2005 when she heard her friend was pregnant with twins. This pregnant pal, whose career in public relations requires attire that is both stylish and professional, was excited to begin shopping for maternity wear. Realizing that today's mothers, like her friend, are smart, chic, active, and professional and should feel fabulous throughout their pregnancy, Clymer found her mission.
